TRACK-HD Study - About TRACK-HD
TRACK-HD is a multi-centre, multi-national prospective, observational biomarker study of premanifest and early stage HD with no experimental treatment.

Objectives
  • determine what combination of measures is the most sensitive for detecting change over the natural course of premanifest and early HD
  • to validate these as potential outcome measures for use in future therapeutic trials

Overview
  • Recruitment began late 2007
  • Study visits began January 2008
  • Baseline visits (n=366) completed July 2008
  • Database lock August 2008
  • Analysis of baseline data completed
  • Preliminary results published in major neurology journal
  • 12-month Follow-up visits began January 2009
  • 12-month Follow-up visits (n=353) completed September 2009
  • Analysis of Year 1 follow up data underway
